What about the famous foot myth? Is it true that big feet equal big penis? And what about hands?
None of that is true, unfortunately. Despite some serious attempts, no connection has ever been found between the size of feet, noses, thumbs, earlobes, or index fingers and the size of the penis. Oh…and buttocks. No connection there either. This last one was only recently proven. In Nigeria, especially among the Igbo tribe, there is a firmly-held belief that a man’s penile size can be predicted from his physique and size of his buttocks, with people of small physique and flat buttocks likely to have long penile lengths. In 2006, some doctors at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Nigeria decided to test the belief. After measuring the butts and penises of 115 men, the doctors concluded that the belief was completely unfounded. No correlation between general physique and penile length was found. And rather than small butts signaling a big penis, there was a very slight correlation in the other direction, with the bigger-butted guys having, on average, slightly larger penises.
