From a purely physiological standpoint, yes. Whatever way you measure physical sexual response, the young guys are going to win, whether it’s speed in attaining an erection, ability to maintain the erection, libido, or ability to regain a new erection following ejaculation. When it comes to testosterone levels, the “peak” is actually later-around 20. When men are in their thirties, testosterone levels begin an inexorable slide of about 1 percent a year-which can add up after a while.
