Make fish oil a regular part of your diet!

I eat salmon all the time. It contains less mercury than tuna, and contains more fish oils.

I tell people to eat fish oil all the time (as opposed to supplements, which often don’t contain real fish oil), because this ingredient actually lower what’s called sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG).

Why is this important? Because SHBG acts as glue that traps your testosterone, so that even if you have a high testosterone level, if you also have too much SHBG in your body, you may not have access to use much of that testosterone when you need it the most.  So if you can decrease the amount of SHBG, it’s like increasing your testosterone levels.

So why do I mention fish? Because the Omega-3 fatty acids found in a lot of fish, are actually able to decrease the instance of SHBG found in a lot of men. So if you want to improve your sexual health, fish oil is the way to go.

A recent study found that an ingredient found in fish oil called Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA), actually works to prevent heart arrhythmia.

A lot of folks develop arrhythmia as they get older, where the heart rhythm is working too quickly. This is actually the number one heart condition found in the country. People consuming fish oils have been shown to have a 30 percent decreases risk in developing this kind of arrhythmia, called Atrial Fibrillation.

This is another great reason to make sure you’re including fish in your diet. So be sure you’re consuming fish oil in order to stay healthy. It’s one of the most important things you can add to your diet to improve your health.
