No matter what you do your testosterone level starts to decline 1 percent each year after age thirty. So in order to keep your organs working to their full potential, you want to do two things

  1. Check your testosterone levels. Ask your doctor to include this simple blood test when you get blood work done with your regular check up.
  2. Measure your waist. Right around the belly button should be half your height, if not you may have low testosterone. This can lead to many things, including decreased sex drive and performance.

I also suggest eating foods rich in L-arginine. Foods such as salmon, red meat, walnuts, and oats contain this precursor to a chemical in the body that improves blood flow.
