When it comes to spreading and contracting HIV, having unprotected sex is the most risky thing you can do. However, some sexual behaviors are riskier than others.
If you have unprotected sex (vaginal or anal intercourse) with multiple partners, your chances of contracting HIV increase. While unprotected oral sex is risky, you’re less likely to become infected from this than unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse.
Remember: HIV sometimes has no early symptoms, so get tested if you’re engaging in any risky behavior to avoid spreading infection to new partners.
